The Perfect Crime
Who says there's no such thing as the perfect crime -- or at least the perfect scam? Al Gore has found one. Gore once predicted the world would die in 10 years if people didn't act to stop global warming. As of this second, that deadline is 8 years, 9 months, 17 days, 12 hours and 11 minutes away. The clock is ticking.
This is the perfect scam because, although he can't prove he's right, nobody can prove he's wrong. He travels the world raking in huge speaking fees with pronouncements that are so dire, they have children shaking in their beds.
And what qualifies Gore to lead the global warming movement?
He graduated from St. Alban's Episcopal School for Boys in Washington -- a private prep school. In other words, he graduated from high school.
He holds a Harvard University, B.A. In other words, he graduated from college.
He went to Vanderbilt School of Religion. Oddly, none of his bios mention that he washed out because he preferred pot-smoking to studying.
And he graduated from Vanderbilt Law School. In other words, he's a lawyer. Well, a lot of people have founded powerful cults with fewer qualifications than that.
Then there's me.
I graduated from Kulm High School in Kulm, North Dakota. I'm a high school graduate.
I have a B.S. from Roosevelt University. I graduated from college. Although, in my opinion, a B.S. trumps a B.A.
I'm a journalist. Journalists are at least as hated as politicians, although I don't know anyone who hates me, I know a lot of people who hate Al Gore.
Moving on. I worked for a year as a TV weatherman. That makes me MORE qualified to predict the end of the world than Al Gore. At least I've done SOMETHING in weather.

P.S. I just stumbled across this site.

We all know Algore is either delusional or a con man.
But, in future, I don't know that I would compare your BS from Roosefelt to his BA from Harvard and JD from Vanderbilt. His educational resume trumps yours big time...
Having said that, at least your education has served you well as is evidenced by your fine blog.
Algore's Harvard Education was a horrible waste.
When I graduated from high school, I could have had my choice of any school in the country. I chose to go into the military. I figured I might as well be doing something useful. I considered colleges to be places where people just warehoused their kids until they were old enough to get a real job. Harvard is just a far more expensive warehouse than others. That's still my attitude, except now so-called Ivy League universities try to turn kids into Maoists -- or at the very least, Democrats. So, in many ways, they're worse.
Education isn't the same thing as intelligence as your obvious intellectual superiority over Al Gore can attest.
When I graduated from High School, not having a 4.0 or a perfect score on the tests, I couldn't go to Harvard. But I was good enuff to get into the toughest school to get into in the State of Florida, the ONLY school I applied to: One of the Public Ivies-- UF--This is the year of the GATOR--national champs in Football and Basketball--never been done before. GO GATORS!!!!!
