I Feel the Power!

OK, so as I said, I went to Best Buy to get some Zip disks. My thought was to back up my system and then restore it to factory condition. That's one sure way to get rid of ALL spyware, junk files, etc. But, I made the mistake of passing by the computers. I was just stunned at how much power you can get for under $400 -- not that I spent under $400. I actually took three steps toward the exit and then spun around and said, "I want one of those, pointing at an HP Pavillion!" I just have it minimally set up (keyboard, mouse, speakers, monitor) and am trying to figure out Vista, the new version of Windows. This thing is so fast, that while I'm wondering if it's doing something, it's already done it. I'm also looking forward to using the LightScribe technology. Apparently, after I've cut a CD or DVD (double layer), I can just flip it over and it will etch a label right onto the disc. No more labels to print and stick on. Those labels have been blamed for destroying disks. It seems I have to buy yet another special cable so I can hook up my old computer to my new one and transfer all my old files. Worth it. After that, I'll completely restore the old one and give it to someone here at work who needs a computer. That snooty Salvation army won't take it because it's over three years old and seeing how much power you can get for the money, I'd feel badly selling it -- assuming I could get anyone to buy it. I was out of touch during the 16 hours that they had both my computers. What's this about Captain America being dead?
