Bye Bye B of A

I canceled the last of my Bank of America credit cards this morning. I had only three, totaling a credit line of over $150,000. Why would I need that much credit? That leaves me with my credit union card (not counting my military exchange card. I used to rotate my cards every month and always paid off the balance every month. But, this will be a minor inconvenience. I hope BofA enjoys doing business with illegal aliens, because they're not getting any more business from me. I feel like an American.

Not only are you an American, you are a good American and you have great integrity, something sadly lacking in most people these days. Good man, Kimosabe.

I was surprised yesterday when I received a check in for mail for the amount of $2.16 from Bank of America stating I had a credit balance on my account with them... News to me! Didn't realize I had an account with them... It appears that a credit card that I had through another bank is now in their possession.

I am having Michael take the check and cash it... once that is completed.. the account will be canceled.

I just heard a factoid on XM radio yesterday about B of A naming their credit cards VISA in whatever year. Well, I had an AAA VISA that I used as my gas card. It paid back 3% whenever I bought gas. Looked at the back and sure enough, there was the Bank of America label. So, I canceled it this morning. Bye bye rebates. Oddly enough, I called B of A yesterday to see if there was any balance I had to pay on two cards I canceled last month. The cards hadn't been canceled. Whoever I talked to hadn't done a thing. I don't know if that was incompetence or deceit.

Wow small world I was just reading about the history of credit cards and heard the same thing too. that VISA is from B of A.

I still don't understand how they are able to give illegals credit cards anyway. They still have to have ID and a SS# or is it just basically like a foreigner applying for credit while in the US like a Frenchman or something.
