But Baby It's Cold Outside
OK, I was sitting here snug as a bug in front of my roaring fake fireplace with a cold rain pouring outside, when I went to Michelle Malkin's site and found that March 15th is annual International Eat a Tasty Animal for PETA (IEATAPETA) Day. I rewound my memory and found that through some miracle of miracles, I had not had a single bite of meat today. No food in the house and, like I said, it's pouring cold rain outside. What to do?
So, I'm slogging from my car to the Burger King because a) no fast food place within driving distance has anyone at the drive-thru who speaks English and b) in this technical age when we can fit symphony stereo sound into a gadget the size of a deck of cards (with all the clubs and spades thrown away) the speaker at drive-thru is still made up of two tin cans and a string. At least inside, the who-knows-whether-they're-legal employees can read my lips and almost get my order right. And by the way, isn't having a 100% Hispanic staff some violation of EEOC regulations? If they were all white, the government would be all over them. You know me, I'm such a stickler for rules.
So, whew, take THAT, PeTA!
Gotta go, Ginger is frantically trying to tell me something and I have about as much success communicating with her as I do with the drive-thru people. At least she can show me what she wants.

How does one go all day without eatinmg any kind of meat? PETA has to hate me. My dining decisions always hinge on whether I want pork, beef, or poultry for all of my meals.
