In the Home Stretch
So, I started moving again at 6 am. Since it's after nine, I guess I've been at it for over 15 hours. I had NO idea I owned that much junk. Just goes to show my old motto is still valid. Every person should lift everything he owns once a year. This is my last day to move, so I've got to stick with it till I'm done. If that means working through the night, so be it.
The cats are in a snit. I'm around but I'm not around. That means they don't get their daily brushings. They're also into everything. What was a spacious apartment a few days ago now looks like Fred Sanford's house. I started out the day by losing my comb. So, after my shower, I used Ginger's brush. That didn't go over well. She just sat at my feet, looking up at me and growling. I guess she figured if she couldn't get brushed, nobody should. And the wire bristles didn't make it a good experience either. Found the comb on the floor next to my bed.
I'd better get back to it. All I can think of is lowering my aching body into a hot bath. And the sooner that happens, the better.

Better thee than me! If you think that's bad, try moving into a three bedroom two bath house that was never emptied when the last occupants moved out three years previously.
I had to do that, and not only did the last occupants leave everything behind, including a full refrigerator (Hoooweeee!), but they left it in a shambles, with trash and cat droppings throughout. Yuck!
I am still not finished, although the house is at least livable now.
Oy. You make me tired and achy just reading about your move. Maybe my last move is still to fresh in my mind.
Too funny about the brush. :)
