He Hates, Who Cares?

The liberals are all a-twitter about former Miami Heat superstar Tim Hardaway telling a local sports radio show that he "hates gay people." What business is it of theirs what anyone thinks about anybody? It's not like liberals are founts of tolerance. They hate Christians, they hate conservatives, they hate Christian conservatives, they hate Dead White Men, they hate live Black Republicans, they hate Ann Coulter, they hate Rush Limbaugh, they hate Fox News, and on and on and on. I personally hate guys who eat with their hat on. I hate people who invent stupid words, like "homophobe." I hate cilantro. I hate busybodies who just can't keep their nose out of other people's business. I hate people who hate people. And it's absolutely nobody's business but mine. And the hatred I feel is just a figure of speech -- an annoyance. It isn't the deep-seated, true, emotional hatred liberals feel about anyone who challenges their belief system. "I hate Republicans and everything they stand for." - Howard Dean

I think we've had this converstion before. I don't hate you for your warped and irrational deep-seated hatred of guys who eat with their hats on.

Your namesake ate with his hat on. Tonto would've too, if Kimo had paid him a decent wage so he could afford one.

In my world, you can know a guy for years, and if he doesn't go to your church, you may not know he is bald, as our ball caps never come off...

But then again we're not city slickers in suits either. But we don't hate them.

We take our boots off when coming inside a house, so we don't track manure inside, but we leave our hats on.

Just kidding you.

Once again, I'm talking about in restaurants. The Lone Ranger removed his hat whenever he entered a private home in the precense of a lady. And although I can't remember him eating indoors (I'll review my DVDs when I get settled), I'm sure he did then too. I've been eating out a lot lately, and the only place I've been in the last two weeks where I didn't see someone wearing a hat was in Olive Garden yesterday. But that was a fairly upper-middleclass lunch crowd.

You know what is irritating...The Edwards bloggers hateful comments were so over the line but this guy says "I hate a gay people"...not even original or an interesting thing to say and I heard Anny Curry say on TODAY that the line "I hate gay people" is SO over the Top!!

THAT IS OVER THE TOP???

But I have yet to hear them state the words those bloggers said. Which no one could deny IS over the top.
Just weird.

Cowboy Hat Etiquette

Taken from the webster's dictionary.

Tip your hat when the following happens, if you're a real cowboy.

* When you are walking with your friend and he says hello to a woman that he knows, but you do not.
* When a woman thanks you.
* After getting directions from a stranger, for sure if the stranger is a woman.
* When you excuse yourself to a woman.

Probably already know when to take off your hat, but just in case you forgot..

* During the National Anthem.
* When you go into a building.
* When you are being introduced to someone, especially if it is a woman.
* When you begin a conversation, not needed if you are just saying "Hello" as you pass them.
* When attending a funeral.
