A Fly in the Ointment
Some little twit has been trying to post here leaving intelligent comments like "You're dumb," and "Who cares?"
Mr. Twit (I'm guessing 12 years old) seems to be getting frustrated because I delete his comments without even reading them (I love Mailwasher).
These comments are not being posted because they violate my simple comments policy. The policy is very short and to the point, but apparently it is impossible for liberals to follow. Just call it my scum skimmer. I guess that's why we have so few liberals posting here.
1. No profanity. Ast****ks count. If you can't express yourself without the use of profanity, find a word of the day site and improve your voc***lary. If your comment contains a link to your blog and your blog is vulgar, don't expect me to post it.
2. Comments must contribute something to the discussion. Don't try to post just to advertise your blog. One-line cheap shots will be deleted. This is a place for conversing, not ranting. And keep it pithy. No doctoral dissertations. And if you do contribute to the discussion, there is no need to post anonymously.
3. Opinions must be courteous and based in fact.
4. If it appears you were inebriated when you posted, I will spare your reputation by not posting your comment.

The rude comments I get are usually via email. That's one of the reasons why I created a separate email address for the blog..
Pithy, huh? That is virtually impossible for one who prefers to ramble...
Your blog your rules. Simple.
I can't believe you are equating Twitism with twelve years olds, and I'm a bit miffed, because I too was a twelve year old once, and like to think I was pretty good at it. I was a Boy Scout Patrol leader, and already had a good idea of what America's politics and History were all about. A number of my contemporary twelve year olds were pretty clever and not twits.
I only spent a year at it, tho, and moved on. I do have a son, tho, that was a twelve year old for a short time, and he wasn't a twit.
I think your twit must be either a six year old (they're stoopid and mean) or maybe a Liberal, of any age. :)
You gotta wonder what's wrong with these people. With all the tens of millions of blogs out there, why do they even bother to leave snarky comments? Just move along, people. Nothing to see here.
That was then and this is now. When I was 12, I was driving trucks and tractors on my uncle's farm, plowing fields and hauling hay.
When someone leaves a message saying "Your ignorant," one fears for the future of the world.
