Fini!
It's done. At about 8:30 this morning, after 26 hours of hauling my stuff from one home to another -- like a meercat moving pups -- I finally closed the door for good on my old apartment. After I turned in the keys, I did something I rarely do and treated myself to breakfast at IHop. Then, I took a long hot bath and a well-deserved nap.
If moving out took a long time, moving in will be a bear. One of my first priorities will be setting up my new aquarium so my five fish can move into a roomier world than the one-gallon tabletop aquarium they're in now.
I guess the only way to get started is to get started. But first, I think there's some potato salad in the fridge. My first stress-free meal in my new home.
And then, I have to deal with Guinevere. She has taken over my recliner and is sitting there watching Voyager. Time to reassert my authority.

Congratulations!
Good for you! Now you can get back to posting insightful entries that I can reference to support my convictions and punish the leftists.
