Woo Hoo! Just two more hours till my weekend. Once again, I will dodge a bullet and not be in town for the State of the Union Address. I absolutely need to drain and clean my 33-gallon aquarium today so it will be ready for the Salvation Army tomorrow. That was the first big ticket item I bought after moving here nearly 13 years ago. I arrived in town with $45 in my pocket and managed to survive until my first paycheck. I think I bought the tank after a month of employment. I also have to move some boxes and stuff so the SA people will even be able to get into my apartment. That should take a few hours. I missread the calendar and thought I'd be doing my move next weekend, but it's the weekend after next. That eases the pressure somewhat. The cats are starting to realize something is up because they just sit and stare at me. And they tend to run and hide when I walk around. Huh, two minutes in a microwave will kill 99% of germs in a sponge. (I have the TV on) Anyway, after I get things moved around, I might go out and do some shopping. Getting into this new apartment will give me a fresh start. My 10-year-old shower curtain needs replacement. Hoo, does it ever need replacement. Oops, time to do the morning Global Markets report. Adios.

ok make sure you take a picture of your cats on the couch watching your new tv and watching the fish swim and post it once you are in your new place!
I think they are going to enjoy this move more than you.
I always put my sponge in the dishwasher but it would last longer if i put it in the microwave.
Great Tip! Thanks.
