Have all Decent Nonpoliticized Scientists Gone the Way of the Dinosaur?

It is starting to get ridiculous with Global warming? It is getting more extreme and I really do not know who to believe.

Besides if we want to clean the environment which I have no problem doing...I like environmental laws in most respects. I appreciated them more once I went to countries who clearly do not have them or have very LOOSE versions of them (i.e. Taiwan [saw acid rain there], China, Thailand, Mexico] and boy was I glad I was American once again. But this is getting out of hand. The LA TIMES has an article almost every week about how the END IS NEAR and the derelict government who ignores the problem under Bush and won't mention it in speeches. Does a scientist who argues temperance and "a wait and see" attitude when it comes to global warming become extinct along with Democratic Muslim countries??? Because now I have two groups that are starting to scare me!!!!

Noy only do we lowly conservatives hate our children...we also hate nature. Heck we HATE love, for crying out loud!

"Does a scientist who argues temperance and "a wait and see" attitude when it comes to global warming?" Pretty good question, and the answer is yes: one of the NASA sites (which I cannot locate now) discussed this, the scientist
noting that the trend was slow enough that by the time temperatures made "believers" of us, there would still be time to
take actions to reverse it. Which strikes me as pessimistically optimistic?

Well, good for him. Too bad the media didn't choose to put HIM in the headlines.
