Busted!

More people should hold these elitist, leftist universities' feet to the fire.

TRENTON, New Jersey (AP) -- The family that in 1961 made one of the biggest donations in the history of academia to Princeton University wants its money back. Relatives of Charles S. and Marie Robertson said the couple wanted their gift to be spent solely to educate graduate students for careers in government, especially as diplomats for the United States. But the family now says the university has not churned out many diplomats and large portions of the gift -- now worth more than US$750 million (euro570 million) -- have been used for other purposes. The family wants to take the money back so it can give it to a school that will carry out its mission.

Tell us what happens with this one.

It could take awhile. Princeton is going to court to keep the money.

Of course they are going to court to keep it...their lawyer is saying... the law of gifts is you can do with it as you please...legally a gift has no strings...however if there was a written agreement then the lawyer is saying...oh that...well that's ambiguous that line could mean anything...even pottery maker majors could one day be diplomats who is really to say??? It's all unclear so don't blame us.

It seems to me that the Robertson Family has forgotten the first rule of Liberalism.

Results are NOT to be examined.

Only intentions.

As long as the school INTENDED to graduate a horde of Diplomats, they should be alright, and should even be eligible for additional donations, whether they actually succeeded in graduating any Diplomats or not.

I really hope that Princeton gets to keep the money.

After all, "the Poor" get to keep all my Tax money that has been spent on the "War on Poverty."

What's good for the Goose, and all...
