I live in Orange County, California and my teenage niece Drew goes to middle school here...well...the Aliso Viejo Middle School in her area has just banned all dances indefinitely. The reason you may wonder...is...the girls...ages 13-16 dressed too provocatively and parents wouldn't do anything about it, and at the dances...guys, really boys, would put chairs in the middle of the dance floor and the girls would come out and give them LAP DANCES...yes that is what i said...where do they learn this??? MTV. My niece said the other day..."that girl dresses like a pole dancer"...I didn't even know what a pole dancer was when I was 13 and truthfully have never even seen one perform yet. I'm speechless.

I've already deprogrammed those channels. And I don't even have kids at home.
The saddest part about this is that young women have no respect for themselves and think their only worth is sexual. What a degrading way to look at oneself.
It's another part of the liberal agenda -- the sexualization of children.
This is a prime example of throwing out the baby with the bath water. The school has abbrogated its responsibility. They have the ability to enforce dress codes and behavioral codes, but choose not to--probably because of our silly court system that encourages frivolous lawsuits...
