On the Road from the Land of the Large

I'm at my sister Cindy's house in Green Bay. It's Saturday Afternoon. We're going out to dinner tonight with my other two sisters and one tag along brother-in-law. I distinctly told my sister Sheila to come alone and unarmed but she didn't get the hint. Man, the people up here are HUGE! I've never seen so many morbidly obese people in one place in all my life. You get the impression that all it would take is a pinprick to spread them all over the landscape. Cindy said yesterday that every man she dates has eating as the center of his life. I'm going to lose some weight when I get back. I drove through two days of torrential rain and pulled into town Wednesday afternoon just as the sun broke through the clouds. I stopped by the florist and then went to the cemetery, where I found my sister Valerie. She was surprised to see me. I told her if she'd e-mail once in awhile, maybe she'd be more informed. I'm leaving first thing in the morning, maybe to never return. But that hotel still pulls me. The Karsten is just fabulous. This would be quite a tourist attraction if the Chamber of Commerce knew what it was doing. Next stop: Springfield, IL

I'm in Springfield. I should be home Wed or Thu. Don't know how much blogging I'll do the next few days, since I can't get my big hands to conform to this little keyboard. Every third letter is a typo.
