A Good Quote

Increasing numbers of people seem to think that it is "name-calling" if you refer to someone as a liberal. There are no inherently negative connotations to the word "liberal." If it has acquired negative overtones, that is because of what liberals have done and the consequences that have followed.

I thought liberals LIKED to be called such. They wear the moniker proudly! It seems the term "right winger" carries an undelying tone of resentment muchc stronger than the term "liberal".

I believe it's come to the point where only radical liberals embrace the term. My coworkers mumble things about "labels" whenever I call them liberal.
