NEW YORK (Reuters) - The ABC television network has pulled a miniseries about the Holocaust it was developing with Mel Gibson's production company, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday, quoting an unidentified representative for the network.
Gibson was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving early on Friday and was reported to have launched into a tirade against
Jews, asking the arresting officer if he was a Jew and blaming the Jews for starting all wars.
As I write this, Mel Gibson is in a detox center. That's it, right? I mean, according to the standard set by Patrick Kennedy, all you have to do is check yourself into an addiction spa for 30 days and all is forgiven. Right?
Right?
Right?
Probably not. Despite having apologized, he'll probably have to give a speech before some Jewish organization and he'll be shaken down for a couple of million dollars and THEN all will be forgotten -- until he supports a conservative political candidate.
Stern lectures for the logically-challenged. Others have opinions, I have convictions.
