Blogging at 4 AM

I know how she does it. I opened my eyes to Guenevere's odd, trilling meow this morning just as she reared up on her hind legs like Silver and plunged both her front paws into my belly. No way I could go to sleep after that, so the cats got a rare, middle-of-the-night snack. Then, I needed a snack, and here I am. I just consulted my recipe site, and I think I'll make Hawaiian roast pork for my work lunches. Haven't had that in a couple of years. Oops, tired now. Back to bed

Well I am picking up where you left off. It is 4:27 a.m. west coast time and of course I cannot sleep after i get up to feed Nicolas.

I have already made muffins and coffee that I order monthly from Dunkin Donuts. We don't have Dunkin Donuts here but I tried it once from a friend from New Hampshire and loved it so much. But your lunch your cooking sounds better. I wish you could give cooking lessons over the internet. You cook...you like cats...i still don't understand how you are still single.

Actually, the last time I was stationed in Korea, I gave Chinese cooking lessons -- to Korean wives -- of Americans. There was an Air Force captain who came every week. He wasn't interested in learning anything, he just said for five bucks, it was the best Chinese meal in the country.

I like all animals (cept snakes) but cats are the only ones allowed in my building. It's all I can do to keep the number down to two.

Alright that's it...you've worn me down. Will you marry me? The thought of homemade chinese food and you're an animal lover!!

A couple that blogs together but never lives together or MEETS are the ones that last...think about it.

Besides the fact that you're young enough to be my daughter, I've already broken up two marriages online. With that kind of karma, I'll probably come back as a Democrat.

Cooking Asian is easier than it looks. I could send you some recipes and teach you through e-mail. I was taught by one of the best.

When I first got here, one of my co-workers said she couldn't even boil water. I gave her a recipe for a Filipino dish and it was so good she really got into cooking. She even hired a private teacher. Seven months later, she made a complete Thanksgiving dinner.
