This Day in Republican History 7/20/06

July 20, 1854 Anti-slavery activists in Worcester, MA found Massachusetts Republican Party

We had to form a new party and shoot a lot of Democrats to end slavery. Just as they did with slavery and segregation, Democrats fight to keep abortion legal. The problem now is that it has become unfashionable to shoot Democrats and these times are too dangerous to lose elections to the cut-and-run Democrats while forming a new party. So, Republicans need to start electing pro-life representatives and demanding their own party leaders fight more courageously to end the slaughter of unborn babies.
