New Jersey: The _______________ State

Oh, I forgot. New Jersey doesn't have a state motto. Maybe it should be, New Jersey: The Moron State. Why? Because they keep electing liberal Democrats to office. It seems that Governor Jon Corzine has shut down the state (what kind of name is Jon?) because the legislature is holding him to his campaign pledge not to raise taxes. No casinos, no lottery, no beaches, no state parks, nada. OK, New Jersey morons, don't you realize that liberal Democrats don't keep their word -- they lie? Don't you realize that taxes are the air Democrats breath? Don't you realize that if you don't want higher taxes, a Democrat is the LAST person you should elect? New Jersey has some of the highest taxes in the country and Corzine wants to raise the state sales tax. Of all the taxes a government can levy, the sales tax most affects the poor, because even the poor have to buy food and clothing. So much for Democrats being the party of the little guy. Meanwhile, the shutdown of casinos is costing the state 1.5 million bucks a day. The shutdown of the state lottery is costing the state 2.2 million dollars a day. Smooth move, morons.
