More Guns, Less Crime

I spent the first half-hour of work tonight on escort duty. Some creepy guy followed one of my female colleagues into the building tonight and was brought up short by the security guards. So, she wanted me to escort her to her car -- and then a second one -- and then a third one. I don't know why they chose me. Maybe it's my cowboy boots and Texas Ranger badge belt buckle. Here in the District of Columbia, there have been 15 murders in the last 16 days. Somebody is going to have to put in a little extra effort so the thugs don't fall behind their record of a murder a day. That's in the city that has the most stringent gun control in the country. Meanwhile, a few miles south of here in Arlington, VA, where I live, the murder rate is 2-3 a YEAR. The people of Virginia still have the Constitutional right to keep and bear arms. More guns, less crime.

It's because you look like the guy who packs "heat." Smart Women.
