Double Standard

Every once in awhile a Democrat opens his mouth and what he really believes spills out. It's a rare occurrence, but when Democrats are caught off guard, they occasionally say what they think. Such a thing happened to the most arrogant man in Congress the other day. Joe Biden was telling an (East) Indian activist what a paradise Delaware is for Indian immigrants and said, “You cannot go into a Dunkin Donuts or a 7-Eleven unless you have a slight Indian accent.” I haven't been in a Dunkin Donuts in nearly a decade, but it's certainly true of the 7-Elevens in the DC area. I don't see that as a big deal. Sometimes even liberals forget to be politically correct. What I do see as a big deal is that if a Republican had said that, the Democrats would be howling for his head. This would be the distraction that could get the treasonous New York Times off the hook.

Reasonable Republicans know that Biden has a big mouth. There are no reasonable Democrats.

I remember Trent Lott.

I believe that Biden deserves the same courtesy that Lott was shown, no more, no less.

I'm not holding my breath though.

And don't get me wrong. I don't think that what Biden said was a big deal either.

But neither was what Lott said.

If the Libs are going to demand a "Zero Tollerance" policy on the issue of Racism, then it should be applied to everyone across the board.

If they do not severely punish Biden, then they should apologize to Lott.

But, once again, I'm not holding my breath.
