Bush might not have the power to create hurricanes after all.
Scientists linking the increased strength of hurricanes over recent years to global warming have not accounted for outdated technology that may have underestimated storms' power decades ago, researchers said in a report published Friday.
But he still has the power to strike people dead.
CLOVIS, California (Reuters) - The death toll from this week's brutal heat wave in California has reached at least 126, state officials said on Friday, although record high temperatures were finally easing.
Or does he?

More and more elderly people are dying unnecessarily during winter cold snaps, a charity has claimed.
Official figures released on Thursday show that excess winter deaths increased by 10% last year.
In total, 27,300 more people than expected died last winter - and of these 25,100 were aged 65 or over.
The time to worry about global warming is not when people are dying of heat stroke in the summer, but when they're dying of heat stroke in the winter.

You do understand, don't you, that global climate change theories don't talk JUST about problems associated with warming, but that localized cooling can be a result of global warming?
What the scientists are researching includes global climate change that may happen as a result of global warming.
What I understand is that liberals continually change their rhetoric when the facts change. Several posts ago, I predicted that global warming would soon be called climate change and that every abnormality on this vast planet would be blamed on the activities of man.
