The Perfect Cat House

No. June is laundry month. I used to do my laundry whenever I was in danger of running out of underwear. But then I found this Chinese place that sells underwear for a buck apiece and now I just about never run out. That may not be a good thing. So, I decided to do my laundry today. I told you that to tell you this. I have a couple of those collapsible nylon mesh laundry baskets. They are about the size of a kitchen trash container. When not in use, they fold up into a small disk. One of them was setting empty in the living room today and my cat tackled it and turned it on its side. VoilĂ ! (Scuse my French) Instant cat den! She went inside and liked it so much that she moved right in. It's the perfect cat house. It's large and the mesh allows the free flow of air, while giving the sense of privacy and security. She also has a nearly unrestricted view of the room. And they're a lot cheaper than cat houses. It also allows me to mess with my cat. I turned it 180 degrees and she dashed for the entrance, which was now the back wall. It moved a good eight inches. I don't think that trick will work again. Now I guess I have just one laundry basket. Just thought I'd pass that on.

As long as you don't accidentally throw your cat into the washing machine, this is brilliant!
