He's BAAaack!

Wow! Those people at the Mayo Clinic are really good! In just one month, they apparently cured a years-long addiction to alcohol and prescription drugs. I wonder if they can fix my ingrown toenail.

Fresh out of rehab, Rhode Island Rep. Patrick Kennedy acknowledged that at least two people have told cops he was drinking at a Washington, D.C., bar the night he wrecked his car, including a waitress who works for a Republican rival.
Kennedy yesterday said that an aide to U.S. Rep. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) who moonlights as a waitress at the Hawk ’N Dove bar told police Kennedy was in the watering hole before he crashed his Mustang into a security barrier near the U.S. Capitol in May.
Of course, since she works for a Republican, this waitress MUST be lying! I wonder if the waitress his dad and Chris Dodd wrestled to the floor in La Brasserie also worked for a Republican. Everybody knows women who accuse Democrats of wrongdoing are lying sluts. Look at all those women who accused Bill Clinton of molesting and raping them. But wait! There's more! In a bizarre news conference the other day, Patrick Kennedy said he wanted to be treated like, "an African-American from Anacostia" ( a predominently black section of Washington). What??? I don't even know what that means. Meanwhile, an African-American Congresswoman has no problemo receiving special treatment. Word is, federal investigators are talking with Cynthia McKinney's lawyers behind the scenes to avoid a trial. I wonder what JFK would think to see what his intellectually inferior brother has contributed to the ever-degrading Kennedy gene pool.

I lived and worked in the District in a previous life. That Hawk and Dove is familiar. Could I have wandered in there in 1969? Was it in DC or Georgetown?

They just valuated a signed Clayton Moore Lone Ranger mask on Antiques Roadshow. I can't remember the estimate, but it was mega thousands...

Keep up the good work, Kimosabe.

Beats me. The only time other than work that I'm in DC is the five minutes it takes to enter and exit.

Here's
info on the Hawk N Dove. I've been in a bar only once in my life, and that was to drag someone out.

If alcoholism is a disease the Kennedy's have a genetic predisposition for it.

I like what the late Mitch Hedberg said about alcoholism, "Alcoholism is a disease, but it's the only disease you can be yelled at for having. 'Dammit Otto, you're an alcholic!' 'Dammit Otto, you have Lupus!' One of those two just doesn't sound right."
