A Good Quote

"We fight not to enslave, but to set a country free, and to make room upon the earth for honest men to live in." - Thomas Paine

Here's one of my favorites:

"We fight not for glory nor for wealth nor honours; but only and alone we fight for freedom, which no good man surrenders but with his life."

It is from the Scottish declaration of independence, and can be found on the sidebar of my blog.

By the way, this is a quote that John Kerry and John Murtha could not say regarding their own allegiance to this country. At least, not with a straight face.
