So, this is what I'm driving for the next few days. Let me rephrase that. So, this is what I have parked in the garage for the next few days and will drive if I sever a foot and have to transport myself to the emergency room. It's been so long since I've driven an underpowered family car that I'd forgotten what it's like. It has bucket seats, but my posture, with both feet planted on the floor, is as prim and proper as though I were sitting in a church pew. It's far from an SUV, but I still sit so much higher than in my car that I feel like I'm sitting on the bench seat of a buckboard. Where are the reins? A team of horses is also what I'm reminded of when I accelerate. I like the design of the PT Cruiser, it's like a phone booth version of my uncle's 1937 Chevrolet that he used only for fishing when he'd come home on leave from the Navy. But I'm afraid that no matter how high gas prices go, I'll never get a 6-cylinder car again.

Pretty color! (That's the only positive thing I can think to say about it.)
