Australia and China have just signed a deal allowing Beijing to import Australian uranium -- but only for power production.
Prime Minister John Howard said on television Sunday that there are strict safeguards in place, and he expects China to uphold them.
No problem there. I'm sure the Chinese will use their OTHER uranium supplies for their nuclear weapons program, now that they don't have to use them for power generation. This is the country that has threatened twice to nuke us.

I wouldn't worry about threats. There's only one country in the world that has ever attacked another with nuclear weapons, and they did it without threatening first...
