This Could Be a Problem

It's nearly 5 pm in Hong Kong, unfortunately, that equates to nearly 4 am in northern VA. And I'm wide awake. I have one day to adjust my sleep cycle before I have to be back at work. After 12 years, I'm leaving the overnight shift to go to the evening shift. That puts me under an editor who is just to the left of Stalin. I'm hoping to avoid bloodshed for as long as I can. I TiVOed a sampling of newscasts while I was gone (yeah, I'm a geek), so I could quickly bring myself up to speed, and I couldn't believe my eyes when I watched a bit of NBC's Monday Nightly News. These so-called journalists have gone quite insane with their hatred of Bush and Cheney. The Cheney hunting accident actually led the newscast! I hurt my brother worse than that when I broke his arm during a wrestling match. He hurt me worse than that the time he tossed me out of a treehouse. At 10 years old, I would have had better news judgement than to rank those altercations higher in the lineup than Fidel Castro kicking Batista out of Cuba. And here's the kicker : "Not since Aaron Burr has a Vice President shot a man!" WHAT???? Besides the absurdity of ranking a minor hunting accident at the top of the lineup -- higher than WWIII and all the other things going on in the world -- there is no comparison between the two men. Aaron Burr was a Democrat in the vein of Al Gore. He was a political loser all his life and blamed all his failures on other people. One of those people was Alexander Hamilton, whom he purposely killed on July 11, 1804. That hardly equates with a minor shooting accident. Burr spent most of his political life undermining the United States, and was once tried for treason, which is what should happen to Al Gore after his remarks in Saudi Arabia -- remarks that went almost unnoticed in the MSM and should have led the newscast. It's too bad dueling has been outlawed. Those arrogant punks in the MSM would be a lot more astute if they knew they had to defend their slander facing Dick Cheney on the Field of Honor. Once again, I am embarrassed to be a journalist. I'm going to catch up on my blogging by posting Republican days in history, only because some of them are very juicy and reveal the contemptable past of the Democratic Party.

Well we wouldn't have had to worry about Chris Matthews after Zell Miller basically challenged him

Watched a PBS Black History documentary days ago that I suspected you had assisted. Facts are finally coming to the fore regarding the Democrat's pathetic crimes toward freed slaves in America against the contrasting backdrop of Republican help. How can PBS have changed this much in 6 years?

Welcome back!
