NBC Closes The Book of Daniel

I gave it a month. NBC has dropped "The Book of Daniel" from its schedule effective immediately, with four unaired episodes still on the shelf. What was that, three weeks? Bring back Pinky Lee reruns. In other entertainment news (sheesh) CBS Corporation and Warner Bros. Entertainment will cease operations of their respective networks -- UPN and The WB. The WB and UPN will continue to broadcast their respective network schedules independently until the fall. They will then combine operations to form a new network -- the CW. The new network will supposedly air the best shows of both UPN and the WB. Don't ask me what shows those are. I'm guessing CW stands for Columbia Warner. And thus ends my stint as an entertainment reporter. That took it out of me. Babs is throwing a party at Spago's tonight, but I think I'll opt for a cup of split pea soup and bed.

Oh My God! I haven't heard anything about Pinky Lee in years! I barely remember the Pinky Lee show from my childhood. In fact, all I remember about him was seeing him on a little old black and white TV with a round screen perched on top of the upright piano.

Pinky Lee was probably my first TV memory.

Even combining the BEST shows of those two networks won't take up more than an hour or two..haha.

At the danger of showing what a teen geek I still am, the only thing I watch on the WB is Smallville. UPN? I can't think of a thing. Dang! You're right!
