All your research and study is incorrect since you have forgotten to include the top most dictator of them all. Being a US based magazine, your decision to not include George Bush as the number 1 dictator does not come across as a surprise. These lefties are amazing! They really and truly cannot judge right from wrong, good from evil. For some unfathomable reason, they have reached adulthood with absolutely no moral compass. You saw an example of that yesterday when I posted a comment from a liberal "fan" who saw no difference between the policies of Saddam and the policies of the President who rescued the Iraqi people from over 30 years of the most monstrous, unthinkable repression. I think the more dangerous threat to this country's safety is not the terrorists ouside our borders, but the nincompoops who reside within. If they ever again attain power, we are doomed as a free nation.

Liberals: Incapable of Reason
Parade Magazine came out today with their list of the world's worst dictators. The list included people like Omar al-Bashir of Sudan. Since February 2003, Bashir’s campaign of ethnic and religious persecution has killed at least 180,000 civilians in Darfur in western Sudan and driven 2 million people from their homes.
Kim Jong-il of North Korea. He runs the world’s most tightly controlled society. North Korea continues to rank last in the index of press freedom compiled by Reporters Without Borders, and for the 34th straight year it earned the worst possible score on political rights and civil liberties from Freedom House. An estimated 250,000 people are confined in “reeducation camps.”
Than Shwe of Burma. Burma leads the world in the use of children as soldiers, and the regime is notorious for using forced labor on construction projects and as porters for the army in war zones and the rape of ethnic minorities.
And the list goes on and on. OK, and what is the first comment from a reader after this lengthy list?

May be my distaste for the public education system is overstated. It would be way to easy to rule this country with an iron fist with people who wear tinfoil hats.
We've already had a taste of it. Our last liberal president was responsible for the cold-blooded shootings of a 13-year-old boy and his mother at Ruby Ridge, the massacre of 86 men, women and children at Waco, and the kidnapping of a Cuban boy by machine-gun wielding thugs in defiance of Florida law in Miami. Not a single word of protest from the liberals. Not a peep.
Pray that more and more of the American public grows aware of the danger of these America-hating leftists who, due to their own ignorance, seem to idolize communism and dictatorships (at the same time as they complain that they are being ruled by one).
GWB, then, must be the dumbest dictator in the History of Dictators, since he's not even trying to extend his dictatorship beyond his 2nd, constitutional term... but this is the kind of intellect one gets by relying on government for education.
A commentator over at my place made a pretty profound statement which I think bears repeating:
"It is so easy to make fun of the Left...just have them talk."
Maybe the commentor that LR was talking about had been listening to Harry Bellefonte, huh Mark?
It's kinda funny to me that the Lefties get all worked up over the Bush wiretapping, but they can't seem to remember programs like Echelon, and Carnivore, which did exactly what they are accusing President Bush of, and calling him a "Dictator" over, only much worse than anything President Bush's Administration has done, AND WE ARE AT WAR!
Not to mention the IRS abuses by the Clinton Administration, which apearently the American Public can never know about (even though we paid for it), because the uncensored Barrett report might make Queen Hillary look bad.
It makes me wonder if the reason that the Left hates the President so much may be because he isn't ENOUGH like a corrupt Dictator.
After all, they seem to like Fidel Castro, and Saddam Hussein, and they certainly have no problem with Totalitarian Governmental Systems...
