Justice in DC

Former DC mayor Marion Barry was robbed at gunpoint in his own kitchen last night. Gee, how could that have happened -- and just a day after I posted the murder statistics for DC? The District has the most stringent gun control laws in the country. According to liberal thought, that means criminals aren't supposed to have guns. People are supposed to be safe in their own homes.
A law was made a distant moon ago here:
July and August cannot be too hot.
And there's a legal limit to the snow here In Taxalot.
The winter is forbidden till December
And exits March the second on the dot.
By order, summer lingers through September In Taxalot.
Barry got plucked like a chicken in his own kitchen. I wonder if they made off with his drugs too. This is the man who once said, "If you take out the killings, Washington actually has a very very low crime rate." Oh, and he also said, "Bitch set me up." Had Mr. Barry lived just a few miles south in Virginia, he would have had the constitutional right to keep a gun in his apartment, to carry a gun, and to use it. I always feel a bit of satisfaction when I see a liberal suffer the consequences of their own policies. Armed thugs one, gun control zero. Again.

I bet Marion Berry has a gun. Any druggie who wants to protect his stash would have one. Anyway, he hasn't shown any desire to comply with the law in the past. Why would he start now?
