The Sky Really IS Falling

Haa haaa, I'll be dead by then!
Scientists are monitoring the progress of a 390-metre wide asteroid discovered last year that is potentially on a collision course with the planet, and are imploring governments to decide on a strategy for dealing with it.

How do we know these scientists haven't seen one too many movies like amargeddon and the other one with Tea Leoni.

They're using the most advanced technology available -- the same radar that's used in Tennessee speed traps.
