My Take on the Senate Shutdown
The spoiled brat Democratic Senators threw a tantrum today and forced the Senate into a closed-door session, effectively shutting it down.
Good!
In my opinion, the entire Congress should be shut down for nine months out of the year. We'd see a lot less mischief coming out of that body if they had less idle time. Either that, or pass my constitutional amendment
All regulatory agencies shall submit their regulations to Congress in the form of bills for debate and possible passage into law.
Wouldn't THAT throw a monkey wrench into the body politic. Representatives and Senators wouldn't have an idle minute for the Devil's play, and unelected liberal bureaucrats would no longer be able to tell us how to live our lives.
When the work of the Congress became actual work, power-hungry despots like Ted Kennedy and John Kerry would flee the institution in droves and actual Americians would be able to run for and win Congressional seats.
