Liberal Values?

I was just doing a little Technorati search today to see who's reading my stuff and came across this snoozer. It's a bit like a mirror image - the dynamics of literary politics in Israel is near identical to the dynamics of governmental politics in North America, and the dynamics of literary politics in North America is nearly identical to the dynamics of governmental politics in Israel.I recall watching the big Bush vs. Kerry debate in utter disbelief- no one argued about the validity of any value or opinion, and fought over which of them truly holds those opinion that are universally agreed upon to be worthy, and who is faking it. Values don't seemed to clash in governmental American politics, only claims to manifest them. I mean, look at this random Republican Blog. Can you even point out a liberal value it is officially opposed to? It attempts to claim every liberal belief and value as Republican. OK, first of all, with all the millions of blogs out there, this guy didn't find my blog randomly, he must have been guided by the hand of God! It's a miracle! Second, this is not a Republican blog. I oppose slavery and racism, so I oppose the Democrats. I oppose ripping unborn babies from the womb, so I oppose liberals. Simple. Easy to understand. I am not a Republican, I am a conservative independent. Third, I do not claim liberal values as Republican because I don't believe liberals have values. Simple. Easy to understand. If liberals have values, where are they? Are they written down somewhere? Is there a 10 Commandments of liberal values that every liberal carries around or memorizes? As research for this post, I Googled "liberal values." What I came up with was total garbage -- total, long-winded garbage. Let me give you just a tiny snippet of one. Liberalism is "Life." It is freedom from physical dangers that can kill or disable us. The Liberal believes it is a nation's job to protect its citizens from physical harm, whether from external sources, such as hostile nations, or internal ones, like crime, disease, or hunger. Liberalism is "Life?" 'Splain the tens of millions of aborted babies. As I showed in an earlier post, if you're an unborn baby with Down syndrome, the chances that you'll be born are becoming slimmer and slimmer. That's how liberals deal with birth defects. That's how liberals protect citizens from disease. They kill them before they can be born with the disease. The Liberal believes it is a nation's job to protect its citizens from physical harm? 'Splain why liberals loath the military. Explain why liberals defend the "right" of illegal aliens to pour across our borders. Explain why liberals oppose the execution of the most dangerous rapists and murders and oppose lengthy prison terms for other dangerous felons. Explain why liberals politicized the disease of AIDS until it become impossible to control. Had we quarantined the first few dozen AIDS patients in a 5-star facility before it could spread, it would be as frightening today as measles. Liberalism isn't life, liberalism (and I don't capitalize it) is delusion. Liberalism is stupidity. Liberalism is everything that is wrong with this country today. And once again, I am not a Republican. I have more guts than that.

tugboatcapn said...: LR, one of the reasons that you are a hero of mine is that you are the only person I have ever seen who has done the research and compiled the information on the origins of the Republican Party, and their decades long stand against Evil in our country.

I see the "Republican Vs. Democrat" battle very much as a battle of "Good Vs. Evil." If you name any issue, the Dems come down squarely on the wrong side. They fight fiercely for the right to end life, revolk private property, create dependancy, deny God, spread fear and gloom, and generally undermine the basic principles upon which our Country was founded.

And they don't even realize that they do these things!!

I AM a Republican. A strong, convicted, unabashed Republican.

I wish I could say the same for the cowardly, spineless, Useless bunch of RINO's we have inadvertently elected to represent us in Washington.

I don't use talking points, I create them.

25 Immutable Truths About Liberals

Over the years I've been writing this blog, I've been throwing out little self-evident truths that seem to have no exceptions that prove the rule. I've made a list of some of them and will add to it as I remember them or make up more. Most of this list I've come up with myself. A few I've borrowed from others.

1. Always expect the worst from a liberal and you will never be surprised.

2. Never try to reason with a liberal. They disregard any evidence that conflicts with their beliefs.

3. You can always tell what liberals are up to by what they accuse conservatives of doing.

4. Liberals don't debate, they argue.

5. The only standards liberals have are double standards.

6. Liberals feel, conservatives think.

7. Whenever you don't understand a liberal's motives, just look for the money.

8. Liberals cannot be embarrassed. They lack the gene to blush.

9. The Liberal Golden Rule is, "Do unto others but scream bloody murder if they do unto you."

10. Liberals don't have leaders, they have demi-gods.

11. There are no honest liberals. If they were honest -- especially to themselves -- they would be conservatives.

12. A liberal's business is nobody's business, but everyone's business is a liberal's business.

13. Liberals have an inflated sense of self-worth. They are like house flies that criticize the air-worthiness of a Stealth fighter. (Sarah Palin, George W. Bush, ad infinitum are morons.)
