License Environmentalists
In this country, you cannot be a barber or a hairdresser unless you have a license and an educational certificate to back it up. Yet anyone can call himself an environmentalist without so much as a degree from a trade school, much less a college. This is having detrimental effects on the environment, because these people don't have the slightest idea what they're talking about (Al Gore, whose book "Earth in the Balance" was the unibomber's bible, comes to mind). We can see the damage that environmental ignorance causes in one Canadian town after Canada banned an annual black bear cull.
We need to license these dangerous, self-appointed environmentalists. The minimum qualification should be a B.S. in environmentalism. They should also undergo psychological evaluation to weed out those prone to superiority complexes. I'm thinking the license should come in the form of a tag in one ear, like the bears have. For a lot of them, that would be a fashion statement.
