AlGore AllGone

It took about six weeks, but the AlGore channel has been pulled from the newsroom cable system. I guess someone thought we needed to watch something more suited for adults. History Channel. Good choice. "Current" is slowly building up a library of "pods," so they don't repeat programming every hour as they did in the beginning, but I have to wonder if anyone is watching. It's mind-numbingly boring. As for AlGore's promise that his channel wouldn't be political, I knew that wouldn't last long. Take a look at this article:
Josh Faure Brac's Super News is an animated series in which Karl Rove literally has a whipping boy (named "the Press") and takes media advice from Michael Jackson, O.J. Simpson and Robert Blake.
I can't imagine Current holding a youthful audience, who care about nothing but dreadful music videos and even more dreadful video games. If this is an example of AlGore's thought processes, we should all get down on our knees and thank God that he isn't in the White House.
