"I'll never talk to a reporter again!"
According to Drudge, that's the response of Helen Thomas after her suicidal remarks about Dick Cheney running for president were tossed about the Internet. So far as I know, Fox News was the only TV news organization to mention the story. Fair and balanced, even when reporting on the unfair and apparently unbalanced.
It seems that Ms. Thomas is plenty P.O.'d at her longtime friend Albert Eisele, editor of THE HILL newspaper. "We were just talking -- I was ranting -- and he wrote about it. That isn't right. We all say stuff we don't want printed," Thomas said.
Why yes we do, Ms. Thomas. And how many times have YOU written about things that people didn't want printed?
Albert Eisele reportedly responded, "Nobody has thinner skin than reporters."
Well, that's almost right. Nobody has thinner skin than LIBERAL reporters.
